IVY, VINE & INVASIVE SPECIES REMOVAL
WHAT IS AN INVASIVE SPECIES
the process of removing invasive species
As ivy grows, it forms a thick tangle of vines and wraps around surrounding shrubs and trees. Ivy also destroys the deeper root systems of existing plants and creates a shallow root system, which can increase the risk of soil erosion. Ivy can also overtake trees which weakens them and can cause limbs and branches to break off. The leaves and berries can also be toxic to humans if eaten.
It is difficult to get rid of because getting rid of it requires not only pulling up the ivy and vines but removing the entire root system as well. We remove the roots but it may require multiple visits to eliminate it all. In addition, we use an organic weed killer.
