HARDSCAPE DESIGN & INSTALLATION

WHAT IS HARDSCAPE IN LANDSCAPING?

The term “hardscape” refers to all of the non-living elements in landscaping, such as a brick patio, a stone wall, or a wooden arbor. It is one of the two major subcategories of landscaping, the other being softscape. Hardscape contrasts with soft materials. Softscape is all of the living and organic elements in a garden or on a lawn, such as trees, flowers, and grass.

add beautiful hardscape elements to your landscaping

Concrete, asphalt, stone, brick, and gravel are all hardscape. In general use, hardscape means materials placed by human design and Dailey Ecolandscaping is experienced in integrating hardscape to your landscaping. For certain types of lawns and landscaping, building walls are critical to your landscaping but you also may want to enhance you landscape design with rock or stone pathways or ponds, etc. Our hardscape solutions are built to prevent erosion and improve the grade of your property.
